![]() She triggers Alela, and Alela triggers her. I'm genuinely shocked she's not on Alela's EDHREC page at all, she seems like one of the best cards in the deck. This is just a free Alela activation which also helps keep your hand full (since ] is basically mandatory in the deck) When Peregrine Drake enters the battlefield, untap up to five lands (one of the lands will need to produce ). Pay to use Peregrine Drake 's new Soulbond ability. Whenever the second one enters the battlefield, Soulbond the two together. Play whichever remains from the above step. Will generate you some good life and punish your opponents. Steps: Play Deadeye Navigator or Peregrine Drake. I just love this card, and your swarm can already help mitigate wide boards, where this card can help deal with opponents who go tall (especially if they have good evasion) Can also be used as a political tool to make a friend in an emergency More small bodies and potential big life gain. I'm not 100% sure she'll be good, but she can probably end up pretty big with all the fliers that Alela can generate just by playing the rest of the deck Just comparing my list to the others on EDHREC, here are some of the most unique cards I have that I think can be all stars: Karametra, God of Harvests ramp us with every creature etb’s.Just built Alela myself over the weekend to try out at my next game night. Tatyova, Benthic Druid gives us value for every land played. God-Eternal Oketra along with our many ETB effects can create an army of Zombies in no time. Mother of Runes and Giver of Runes can protect your Commander from damage spells or single card removal. If you have Alluren + Shrieking Drake + Chulane on the battlefield equals infinite ETB’s and allows you to draw your deck and win with a Laboratory Maniac or Thassa’s Oracle. Alluren + Shrieking Drake + Chulane Combo You cast Duskwatch Recruiter to look for Ballista and you win with infinite damage from Ballista. Allowing you to tap and untap with Druid until you have infinite mana. Due to Vizier’s ability, Vizier doesn’t put a -1/-1 counter on druid. You tap Druid for green mana, then untap it. If you play any Modern, then you need no introduction to this deck. Allowing us to potentially gain infinite mana or just draw our entire deck. Aluren allows our creatures to come into play for free and Intruder Alarm untaps our team for every creature that etbs the battlefield. Intruder Alarm with Aluren can easily draw our entire deck. Play Walking Ballista for infinite damage!.Repeat steps 4 through 6, infinitely untapping up to seven lands at a time and tapping them to float infinite mana. When Peregrine Drake enters the battlefield, untap up to five lands (one of the lands will need to produce ). ![]() Pay to use Peregrine Drake’s new Soulbond ability.Whenever the second one enters the battlefield, Soulbond the two together.Play whichever remains from the above step.Play Deadeye Navigator or Peregrine Drake.Or cast Hangarback Walker and sac it to Food Chain and create infinite tokens and play Craterhoof Behemoth to win the game!.Or cast Green Sun’s Zenith to play your entire deck to draw your entire deck and win with either Laboratory Maniac or Thassa’s Oracle.Cast Walking Ballista and ping the board for infinite damage.Repeat this until you have infinite mana.Cast The Eternal Scourge with the mana you produced, leaving one mana floating. This gives you four mana of any colour you desire.Cast Eternal Scourge and then sac it to the Food Chain 7.99 6.35 0.If you like ramp and draw, than this is the deck for you! So what are the combos? The Eternal Scourge + Food Chain Combo Draw and/or tutor until you have one of our combos and win!.Which gives you a way of playing your creatures again after playing them for additional value! So what’s the gameplan? So this card draws you cards and ramps you! How can you say no to that? Then you can tap 3 mana and tap Chulane to return a creature to your hand. Long Answer: Chulane allows you when you cast a creature to draw a card and you can put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield. Short Answer: Because he’s pure value! Duh! Let’s go over it! So why Chulane, Teller of Tales? And Chulane, Teller of Tales has become a really fun Commander to play with. But now that I have a lot more time because of quarantine, I finally made a list and built the deck (on MTGO). So I didn’t really get around to actually building Chulane. Unfortunately, I was more focused on other projects at the time in Modern, Legacy and Pioneer. One of the Commanders, I always wanted to build around was the commander Chulane Teller of Tales.
